It all begins in Madagascar, our homeland.
Driven by a deep attachment to our roots and an admiration for local craftsmanship, we — a small group of passionate Malagasy people — dreamed of a brand capable of spreading our heritage beyond borders.
From the very beginning, our ambition was clear: to bring together the best artisans in the capital, seek out the finest materials, and create pieces that proudly carry the colours of Madagascar.
Mikanto was born from this desire to offer beautiful, sustainable and authentic creations — faithful to our culture and the natural elegance of our island.
Silent ascent
First steps, first customer feedback
After several months of creation, we launched our first pieces in France.
It was a period of discoveries, of trials… and above all of wonderful encounters.
